U10 Panthers pounce again!
Suffolk Championship result. The weather was “changeable”, started quite bright and then soon the black clouds came. Lots of thunder and lightening, and luckily the gazebo that was put up for some shade from the blistering heat on the club’s Fun Day made a good shelter from the down pour!!
A very successful outcome for Kesgrave riders with the top four positions going to Lewis, Ollie, Jake and Alfie. Well done to all for another exciting nights racing, whatever the British drought can throw at us

Magnificent weekend for the Panthers
A busy weekend for club with a trip to Norwich for the British Youth and Juniors on Saturday and the South East Grand Prix at home on Sunday, producing some magnificent performances.
Kesgrave bought a very strong team to Norwich, which resulted in Ollie Wright winning the Under 8 and Lewis Brinkhoff winning the under 10. In the under 10 Kesgrave were in total domination, with the top 5 places going to our riders – awesome!
It was the first BYJL outing for Magnus Vincent and he made it into the Under 8 B final. The spokesman has a nice article about success of the Kesgrave and Ipswich youth policies, Amazing Youth Policy, that is encouraging new kids to take up the sport and developing the talent in the teams.
And so to the Panthers home track for the SE Grand Prix. The racing was very close with a number of clashes and near misses. Today the under 8 were copying the under 10 from yesterday, with Kesgrave taking the top 3 positions – the winner being Ollie Wright, followed by Ollie Reynolds and Daisy Steward. The Under 10 also repeated their performance from the BYJL and secured the top three places, Lewis winning, followed by Regan Repman and James P0mroy.
The under 13 is always going to be difficult against our friends and national team champions Ipswich, but Tyler Brinkhof performed brilliantly to come second. Details of the overall Grand Prix standings are on Gary’s website.

Under 10 Champs Again :) & a superb 3rd place in the Under 13`s
Well i am guessing that this is old news to some (i have just been on Facebook !) and new news to others but i am pleased to report that this weekend 10 of our lads have done themselves, their parents and the club proud by representing the club in the British Under 10 & Under 13 club championships in Manchester (or there abouts).
Our Under 10 team performed phenomenally well by winning the trophy and the right to call themselves the best Under 10 team in the land. This is now the 3rd year on the bounce we have won this and it just gets sweeter every time
So well done Lewis Brinkhoff, Ollie Wright, James Pomroy, Alfie Steward and their inspirational captain James Porter.
Our Under 13 were very much the under dogs in their category but again surpassed themselves by achieving a hugely impressive 3rd place in the country in their age group. So again well Done to Tyler Brinkhoff, Cormac Repman, Stefan Farthing, Evan Vincent and Jay Berry.
Special thanks also goes to Graham Wright, Phil Repman & Paul Brinkhoff for managing and motivating both teams to equal and also surpass our expectations. (and not forgetting Peter Ingram who has the thankless task of training the youngsters on a monday evening)
Congratualtions from all within the club to you boys and thanks to you parents for making the trip.
On a particularly good weekend for Suffolk cycle speedway our neighbours, rivals but in reality really good friends Ipswich Eagles won the Under 13`s title and finished a very creditable 3rd in the under 10`s.
Well Done from a very proud Chairman
